Ricoh positioned in the 2021 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Managed Workplace Services, Europe

Ricoh Europe, London, 08 March 2021 – Ricoh today announced that it has been positioned by Gartner, Inc. in its February 2021 Magic Quadrant for Managed Workplace Services, Europe* report. This is the third year in a row that Ricoh has been recognised in the Magic Quadrant report.

Gartner evaluated 19 providers, including Ricoh, against evaluation criteria for completeness of vision and ability to execute in the MWS space. As a result, Ricoh has been positioned in the Magic Quadrant for Managed Workplace Services, Europe.
“Gartner defines managed workplace services (MWS) as a subset of the IT outsourcing (ITO) market. MWS includes traditional end-user outsourcing (EUO) as well as new digital workplace services to provide cloud-first, automated and integrated support to end users. MWS is centred on delivering a digital workplace experience to end users so that organizations can leverage their digital dexterity in the development of new digital business services. The goal is to boost employee engagement and agility through a more consumerised work environment, while optimizing costs.”
Ricoh has a four-pillar service offering for MWS that includes smart workplace, AI & automation, digital experience monitoring and cybersecurity. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Ricoh pivoted its marketing to focus on the needs for remote working enablement, process automation, cloud usage and delivery of a smart and safe workplace, through zero-touch support.

David Mills, CEO, Ricoh Europe, says: “We feel it’s a tremendous honour to be recognised by Gartner for the third year in a row. Today, the IT and other digital services we deliver to our customers makes up more than a quarter of our global sales composition. We look forward to building on this achievement in the years ahead, through both organic and acquisition-based growth, while helping support customers on their digital transformation journey.”

Alberto Mariani, Senior Vice President of Office Services, Ricoh Europe, adds: “We believe Ricoh has been recognised once again in the Gartner Magic Quadrant based on our unwavering focus on our customers’ business priorities. By supporting change in customers’ working culture to drive organisational and individual agility, we take pride in providing a robust and flexible service.”
