Overview
What is it?
The RICOH Universal Print App offers a modern approach to workplace document output by connecting Ricoh printing devices to Microsoft’s cloud-based print service, Universal Print. Designed to eliminate the complexity of on-premise print servers, this solution allows IT administrators to manage devices and user access directly from the Microsoft Azure portal. Users benefit from a seamless experience across locations, while organisations reduce maintenance workload and gain enhanced security and scalability. The ideal app for hybrid and dispersed workforces, it’s a smarter way to manage printing.

How it works
Streamline printing for modern workplaces
The RICOH Universal Print app enables easy deployment of printers through the Microsoft 365 Azure portal and is accessible through the Smart Operation Panel (SOP) on your Ricoh devices. IT administrators can assign access, configure devices and manage print settings remotely. Once set up, users can send documents directly to their designated Ricoh devices from anywhere – no drivers or local server required.
Choose the convenience of directly printing jobs from PC, or enable more security with PIN authentication when releasing jobs from your Ricoh print device.
The app includes multi-language support for global teams and is available to download on supported Ricoh devices from the Ricoh SOP App site.
