Answering common questions about RICOH Print as a Service
1. What is the RICOH Print as a Service Essential Subscription?
The RICOH PraaS Essential Plan is a monthly subscription for print devices that includes all consumables, parts, maintenance, software and services. It is based on an agreed monthly volume of colour and/or mono pages for printing and copying.
2. How does the RICOH Print as a Service Essential Subscription work?
You select a plan based on a fixed minimum monthly volume of mono and colour pages. For each available model of device there is a suggested small, medium, or large monthly volume. But custom volumes can also be chosen. Ricoh suggests basing this on your current volumes to benefit from predictable billing.
For the term of the subscription contract Ricoh will provide everything required to maintain a reliable print service based on clear service level objectives.
3. How does billing for fees work?
Ricoh will bill you monthly or quarterly in advance for all fixed subscription fees for your chosen essential plan and enhanced packages.
Ricoh will review and reconcile your actual usage against your chosen volume plan, and if the average volume over the agreed period exceeds the plan you will be automatically billed for any overuse based on the quoted and contracted overuse charges.
4. What type of print devices are available within RICOH PraaS?
You can choose from a recommended portfolio of A4, A3, mono, colour, new and circular remanufactured devices. Speak to your local Ricoh contact to determine what's right for you.
5. Do I have any flexibility to change commitments?
The service led approach to RICOH Print as a Service has been designed to deliver the most cost-efficient plans when choosing a 3, 4, or 5 year commitment to your contract. Giving you peace of mind that Ricoh will take care of your printing, while you benefit from a predictable print service that keeps your business productive, secure and sustainable.
6. Can I change or remove any solutions or services in the Ricoh Essential Plan?
Ricoh considers everything included in the Essential Plan to be exactly that, essential. In order to provide a consistent, reliable, secure, sustainable and efficient print service we need to ensure we have the right tools and services in place to do so.
To provide the best overall value, many components within our Print as a Service model are offered as part of a cost-optimised, service-led approach that reflects our commitment to delivering both performance and affordability.
