Ricoh virtual tour to show business benefits of 3D printing in post COVID-19 world

Ricoh Europe, London, 09 July, 2020 – Innovative manufacturers from across Europe can gain valuable insight into the benefits of utilising 3D printing through a dedicated webinar from Ricoh this month.

With much of the continent still working from home and unable to travel, Ricoh 3D is bringing its state-of-the-art facilities to manufacturers across the continent. Over £1m has been invested into the Centre of Excellence in Telford, England, to expand Ricoh's range of technologies, process controls and R&D capability.

Webinar attendees will see Ricoh's in-house 3D printing technologies in action, along with its cutting edge facilities for material characterisation, metrology and quality assurance. They will also be able to view Ricoh 3D's portfolio of hardware, which includes SLS, MJF, FDM, injection moulding and range of technical services and back office systems. These unique capabilities give Ricoh the flexibility to test and develop new materials and to create non-standard components and parts.
The webinar also presents the opportunity to talk with Ricoh's design and material experts about the application development, material characterisation and design support available.
Mark Dickin, Additive Manufacturing and Moulding Engineering Manager, Ricoh 3D, says: “Our free webinar and virtual tour is designed to help innovators understand how an additive manufacturing service can boost their business without the need for capital expenditure commitments, resulting in a valuable de-risking exercise during uncertain times. There are numerous benefits associated with 3D printing, whether that be flexibility, cost and time savings or enhanced quality control processes. Crucially, it is also about knowing how and when to tap into the potential of this sometimes misunderstood technology."
Mark will be joined by Material Specialist Dr Enrico Gallino and Senior Design Engineer Rich Minifie for the webinar.
The event takes place on Wednesday 15 July from 3pm BST. You can reserve your place by signing up here.
