Ricoh launches digital ring binder solution

Ricoh Europe, London, 01 September 2015 – Ricoh Europe has extended its range of software offerings with Ricoh eBinder, a flexible working solution that enables users to compile and present a selection of documents in a personalised digital ring binder for easy, secure access.

Designed for employees on the move, Ricoh eBinder enables fast access to the information contained in documents without the need for physically copying or connecting to the original files. Users can open digital ring binders on Windows, iOS and Android-based devices, making it more convenient to refer back to the original document information at a later point.

Based on gDoc technology developed by Global Graphics, Ricoh eBinder supports over 100 file types, including emails, Microsoft Office files, PDFs and web content. Updates to the original documents are automatically reflected in the digital copies created, and information can be further organised using tabs for easy reference.

For added personalisation, individual users can customise the look and feel of the digital ring binders they create. When sharing these binders for wider consumption, users can specify which parts can be accessed, and binders can be password protected for greater security.
