Ricoh acquires AVC to further support digital workplace transformation across the Nordics
Deal reaffirms Ricoh as one of Europe’s largest AV and workplace integrators
Ricoh Europe, London, 01 June 2022 – Ricoh customers across the Nordics are set to benefit from an even greater range of collaboration technologies and services through the company’s acquisition of AVC.
Founded in 1965, AVC is an AV, Unified Communication and Workplace Management specialist with headquarters in Horsens, Denmark. Boasting a strong presence in the Danish AV integrator market, AVC has 56 employees supporting around 800 customers locally and globally. The entire AVC workforce will be retained as part of the acquisition.
The acquisition will enable Ricoh clients across the Nordic region to benefit from AVC’s experience and expertise in AV, Unified Communications and Workplace Management. They will also have access to a broad portfolio of products, software and service offerings, and be able to harness continuous innovation through strategic partners such as Cisco, Crestron, Microsoft, NEC, Barco and Samsung.
AVC clients will benefit from Ricoh’s global footprint, financial strength and integrated service delivery infrastructure. They can access a wide range of Ricoh products and solutions, including RICOH Spaces, interactive whiteboards and Smart Lockers. They can also access Ricoh’s extensive digital services portfolio which encompasses Digital Workspace, Digital Experience, Business Process Management, Cloud & Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Graphic Communications capabilities.
AVC will continue to operate under its existing name, reporting to Ricoh Denmark.
