Challenge:
What was Skytech Distribution’s main challenge in the education sector?
Interactive whiteboards (IWBs) hold the potential to transform the classroom experience, improving student engagement and learning outcomes, but usage of the solutions during lessons often remains limited and ineffective. Skytech Distribution planned a training programme that would introduce teachers to the advanced capabilities of IWBs, and demonstrate how they could adopt innovative EdTech during lessons.

How did Skytech Distribution increase adoption of interactive whiteboards?
Skytech Distribution launched the Ricoh IWB Academy, the first teacher training programme dedicated to IWBs in Lebanon. Featuring structured workshops and hands-on demos, the sessions enable teachers and educators to explore how using IWBs can support more interactive and gamified experiences during lessons and encourage greater collaboration and engagement among students.
The IWB Academy has trained more than 75 teachers and enabled Skytech to sell over 100 IWBs, increasing EdTech adoption in schools and helping to accelerate digital transformation in the classroom.
