The Company:
Semler Gruppen A/S was founded in 1917, is one of the largest automotive groups in Denmark. With more than 3,000 employees, the group imports vehicles and agricultural equipment from leading brands such as Volkswagen, Porsche, SEAT, CUPRA, Audi, and John Deere, and develops and retails its own cutting-edge mobility solutions. During 2025, Semler achieved revenues of DKK 36 billion (EUR 4.82 billion).
Challenge:
Semler dealerships generate millions of sales documents every year. Previously, the company relied on more than 380 printers from 15 vendors to create documents, but this complex, heterogenous environment was time-consuming and costly to manage, and the company had no unified view of print volumes. To simplify operations and improve control, Semler looked for a single partner that could deliver an integrated print solution.
Solution & Benefits:
To streamline and rationalise the print environment, Semler selected Ricoh to provide an end-to-end managed print service. The solution includes all-in-one printers at every dealership, with RICOH @Remote software to monitor printing and scanning volumes and paper and energy consumption. Plus, Semler uses RICOH Cloudstream to support secure pull printing, and ensure GDPR compliance.
With Ricoh, Semler has consolidated the print fleet from 15 vendors to one, cutting administrative volumes, and reduced device models by 95%, simplifying management and maintenance workloads. The Ricoh solution has delivered 99.9% uptime, helping dealership employees to work productively and efficiently.
- Delivery and installation of all-in-one Ricoh printers
- @RICOH Remote centralised fleet management software
