Company:
A leading provider of print and digital services, Ricoh Europe consists of 25 separate entities, with more than 14,500 employees. With headquarters in London and Amsterdam, the company is growing rapidly, both organically and via acquisition, adding new people, knowledge, and capabilities.
Challenge:
To support business development and innovation, Ricoh Europe’s HR organisation needs processes that are agile and scalable. During a comprehensive re-assessment of its HR operations, the company identified several areas for improvement and launched a major digital transformation programme. The key objectives were to reduce manual workloads, driving efficiency and productivity, and to improve the employee experience during every interaction with HR, from hiring all the way through to offboarding.

Solution & Benefits:
To implement the HR transformation, Ricoh Europe selected Axon Ivy, Ricoh’s own process automation and orchestration platform. The company used the solution to integrate its HR systems, standardise and automate processes across the EMEA region, and launch an employee self-service platform, branded iPeople 2.0. The approach has reduced administrative workloads, replacing complex, time-consuming manual steps with more nimble digital ways of working, and enhanced the end-to-end employee experience.

“Our HR transformation programme has been a great journey, from collecting ideas and identifying areas for improvement to using process automation to implement new workflows. The project has made our HR organisation more agile and efficient, ready to build the next era of business success.”
