About Municipality of Keratsini
The Municipality of Keratsini – Drapetsona provides local government services to around 90,000 people. The Municipality’s responsibilities include the administration of social, health, culture, sport, education, environmental, and cleaning services to the towns of Keratsini and Drapetsona in the Piraeus region of Central Greece.
Challenge
Collecting paperwork from Keratsini Town Hall created inconvenience for citizens and the Municipality. Citizens could only collect items during official opening hours in the working week, while Municipality employees would spend time locating the right documents. The Municipality now wanted to offer a self-service model, enabling citizens to pick up items immediately, without having to search for the right people to provide forms.
