Fashion retailer delivers five-star service with streamlined printing and enhanced cybersecurity
Company introduction:
Modehaus Garhammer GmbH is a leading regional fashion retailer based in eastern Bavaria, Germany. With annual revenues of around EUR 36 million, the company offers products from more than 400 brands at its 9,000 square-metre store, including established names, emerging talent, and luxury fashion houses.
Challenge:
Modehaus Garhammer uses many kinds of merchandising and signage to highlight the latest retail trends, plus printouts to communicate information to staff. Previously, the company used 20 printer models from nine manufacturers, which were time-consuming and complex to manage. Similarly, Modehaus Garhammer relies on various digital solutions to manage business workflows. Aware of the growing risk of cybersecurity incidents, the company wanted to strengthen its defences against ransomware and other threats.
Solution and benefits:
Modehaus Garhammer decided to simplify its print strategy by adopting a single-vendor model, using Ricoh A4 and A3 multifunction printers (MFPs) at its point-of-sale counters and offices. And to gain a single point of control and a clear, centralised overview over print operations, the company now uses RICOH Streamline NX V3 software. Building on the successful print engagement, Modehaus Garhammer then selected RICOH RansomCare powered by BullWall to protect its documents against malware and other cyberthreats.
