Company introduction:
Consistently rated as one of the leading schools in Cyprus, The International School of Paphos (ISOP) provides primary and secondary education to 1,000 students from more than 40 nationalities. Founded in 1987, the co-educational school teaches the English National Curriculum, covering subjects including mathematics, modern languages, economics, music, business studies, computer science, robotics and more.
Challenge:
To inspire students to reach their academic potential, ISOP strives to make every lesson an engaging and informative experience. ISOP had introduced digital displays to present information in a more impactful way, but each system required multiple components, and teachers often became frustrated setting them up. Meanwhile, text on the displays was difficult for students to read unless rooms were kept in total darkness.

Solution and benefits:
To enhance the learning experience, ISOP looked for a more advanced educational technology, before implementing Ricoh A6500 and A7500 Interactive Whiteboards. The solutions enable teachers to write content, edit and share documents, load multimedia content from the web, and much more. Students find that the ultra-high-definition Ricoh screens make reading text and numerals much easier, while incorporating online content helps to keep lessons interesting and enables teachers to explain complex subjects in innovative ways.

“Students certainly respond much better when we use the Ricoh solutions compared to standard whiteboards or our older digital displays. They understand new concepts and instructions much faster, and the experience is more interactive and engaging when they can add and edit content on the screens.”
