Company introduction:
One of Italy’s leading publishing houses, Giuffrè Francis Lefebvre prints and distributes legal, tax, and finance periodicals. Headquartered in Milan, the company operates eight subsidiaries across Europe and employs more than 2,400 people. As well as publishing over 10,000 titles, Giuffrè Francis Lefebvre provides specialist software, training, and e-learning services for legal professionals.
Challenge:
In 2023, Giuffrè Francis Lefebvre moved headquarters to a prime location on the prestigious Via Monte Rosa in Milan. At the new office, the company aimed to create a state-of-the-art workspace that would stimulate creativity, boost employee well-being, and enable more-agile working. Specifically, Giuffrè Francis Lefebvre wanted to facilitate communication between office-based and remote workers to help them share ideas and deliver more-effective client services. How could the company turn its innovative vision into reality?

Solution and Benefits:
To create the new workspace, Giuffrè Francis Lefebvre worked with Ricoh to equip 14 meeting rooms with audiovisual solutions and videoconferencing software to enable seamless collaboration. The company also added interactive whiteboards, cameras, and ceiling-mounted microphones in its auditorium to run major internal and external events. Employees can book desks and meeting rooms and check-in visitors quickly and easily via the RICOH Spaces app. And thanks to a flexible financing plan from Ricoh Capital, Giuffrè Francis Lefebvre was able to avoid large-scale upfront investment and spread the cost of the solutions over multiple years.

“We are extremely satisfied with the work carried out by the professionals at Ricoh Italy as well as the support that they continue to provide, intervening quickly where required. We are continuing to engage with Ricoh as we are well aware that the way of working is constantly evolving, and we are ready to seize new opportunities for innovation and change.”
