For 30 years, Centro Gráfico Ganboa has been a major commercial and book printing business operating in the Basque region of northern Spain. Working with private companies and government entities across Spain and France, Ganboa offers an end to end service covering everything from prepress stages to logistics management, and specialises in the production of educational materials, including stapled and bound items.

Across the production print market, clients increasingly demand more flexibility, shorter turnaround times, and higher quality output. To meet these expectations, Ganboa is transforming its business model, moving from fully offset production to a mixed setup incorporating digital printing. Specifically, Ganboa wanted a digital solution that would offer quality, productivity, and stability, and enable short run printing that offset could not deliver.
Solution & Benefits:
To handle increasing volumes of commercial work, Ganboa selected a Ricoh Pro C9500 toner based sheetfed digital press. The new device enables high speed printing onto all types of media, from thin 70-80 gsm papers to 350 gsm card stocks, and offers comparable quality to the company’s offset equipment. Ganboa can also offer more flexibility to clients, including handling short run production of materials for meetings and presentations.
