What is SLS and how does it work?
Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) is an additive manufacturing process that builds parts layer by layer from powdered polymer.
A thin layer of pre‑heated powder is spread across a build platform, and a laser selectively melts the areas needed for that layer.
The platform then lowers by the defined layer thickness, fresh powder is applied, and the process repeats until the full 3D part is formed without any need for support structures.
