Ricoh opened new worlds at drupa 2016

Drupa 2016 is now over – and it’s been the busiest yet for Ricoh! We had thousands of conversations with visitors from nearly 100 countries about all aspects of printing and innovation and much more. Check out some highlights of the show!


Stand highlights

Ricoh launched a number of new products and enhancements at drupa, including:

  • JobDirect® Plus, an easy-to-use tool that brings a modern overhaul and scalability to the job submission process for print providers. It empowers inplant and print service providers with a seamless way for their end clients to create engaging, customised printed collateral through a responsive and touch friendly User Interface (UI), while adding greater efficiency and integration within the operation’s overall workflow. 
  • Total Flow Print Server R-61/R-61A, a new printer Digital Front End for Ricoh Pro ™ C9100 and Ricoh Pro™ C7100 series of sheetfeed colour presses, which is designed to be highly compatible with major prepress workflow software for offset printing by enabling the same user interface to be used for offset and digital workflows. 
  • The Ricoh Pro™ C9110 presses proved popular at drupa, with Magneet, Ecograf and Cicero Digital all signing for the heavy-duty digital colour sheetfeed presses at the event. Cicero Digital also purchased a Ricoh Pro™ C7110, a digital colour cut sheetfeed press.
  • EDC Expert invested in Eastern Europe’s first Ricoh Pro™ VC60000 continuous feed production inkjet platform. 
  • Hansaprint also announced that the Financial Times and International New York Times were being printed on the world’s first Ricoh Pro™ VC60000. 


  • Ricoh also announced a partnership with EFI® VUTEk™ to offer market-leading flatbed printing solutions as part of its entry into the vibrant signage market, bringing greater flexibility and opportunity for clients.
