The European Service Parts Centre (ESPC) and its network of satellites throughout Europe stocks over 55,000 service parts for (multifunctional) printers, copiers, fax machines, scanners, digital duplicators and related office automation equipment.
The Ricoh International Online Network System (RIONS) is assuring a fast and reliable after-sales service. A unique Warehouse Management System and a transport management functionality based on barcode technology provide track & trace functionalities for the entire supply chain from ESPC to the customer.
At this moment an average of 280,000 outbound lines per month are being processed, and some 1,400 locations served across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Due to the efficient handling system, a 24-hour lead-time is becoming the standard for European customers. Depending on the ship-to location order lead-times are down to 30 minutes.
