|  The European Development & Support Centre (EDSC) is mainly responsible for the development, testing and support of new hardware and software products. |
| Besides offering technical and sales support for products from Ricoh's production facilities, the centre develops software and evaluates new products before they are marketed in the European region. The EDSC assures that the products are ready to be marketed and gives additional support during the actual launch period. Moreover the EDSC provides direct support to third party developers looking to develop new software for Ricoh products. |
