The Aficio™MP 6000, MP 7000 and MP 8000 are equipped to process a high volume workflow at great speed while at the same time delivering an impressive quality standard. Printing at a resolution of 1,200 dpi after a short warm-up time, they have a maximum input capacity of 8,300 sheets. The machines can handle various paper formats, from A3 to A6, and deal with weights of up to 216 g/m2. Duplex printing happens in one pass and at the same speed as simplex printing.
With their new standard Joint Bi-level Image (JBIG) compression, the Aficio™MP 6000, MP 7000 and MP 8000 transmit fax messages at a maximum of 2 seconds. Three lines are simultaneously available through the fax’s multi-port. For a smooth data flow, the machines are equipped with features like Internet fax, fax forwarding via e-mail or directly to a dedicated network folder and paperless or serverless faxing for light users.
Ricoh’s continued focus on providing customers with an optimised workflow translates itself into the adoption of large LCD screens and improved ‘scan to’ functions. Intuitive operation and previews before transmission ensure optimum input accuracy of the daily workflow. Efficient document distribution is facilitated by scan to e-mail, scan to folder, scan to URL, scan to NCP, and LDAP address search functions. To ensure versatile network connectivity, the Aficio™MP 6000, MP 7000 and MP 8000 include standard 1000 Base-T Ethernet which supports data transfer at a fast rate of one Gigabit per second. A wireless LAN interface is optional.
Complete in-house document finishing is made possible with the addition of the wide range of finishing options. Stapling, punching, and Z-folding units are available. Professional-style booklets can be produced using the cover interposer and saddle-stitch unit.
