Ricoh Europe: copiers, photocopiers, printers, gelsprinters, multifunctional printers

London/St.Gallen, 1 April 2008 – After over 25 years of successful partnership RICOH EUROPE PLC has taken over Celltec AG as of 31 January 2008. As of today Celltec AG also adopts the name of its parent company and will become RICOH SCHWEIZ AG. At the same time we also announce the intention to integrate Infotec Schweiz AG with headquarters in Renens/VD by 1 July 2008 and the intended integration of Lanier Schweiz AG with its headquarters in Horgen/ZH by 1 October 2008 (both Swiss affiliates of Ricoh Europe PLC).

These affiliates complement each others business and as such this integration will see Ricoh evolve into a clear market leader for printing solutions in the Swiss marketplace. With combined resources of nearly 500 employees the new Ricoh Schweiz AG will be well positioned to offer unique market coverage to better consult and support our customers into the future.

The overall objective is to re-enforce the Ricoh Schweiz AG company’s competitive position under the leadership of Stefan Ammann, CEO and to create an organization that will be able to provide the best possible service to our customers in the years to come.

The personal contacts with management, the sales force, administration and technical support remain the same and business, as well as superior service will be delivered ‘as usual’.
