The high productivity and document finishing functionality of the Aficio™MP C2000 allow users to keep much of their document management requirements in-house. To ensure that the device can grow with the user’s business needs, it is easy to upgrade.
For professional-looking documents, the Aficio™MP C2000 produces quality output at up to 20 pages per minute respectively, whether printing in full colour or black and white. The high speed scanner supports speeds up to 50 pages per minute and with a fast warm up time of 45 seconds, documents can be produced within 6.7 seconds. For minimum user intervention, the Aficio™MP C2000 has an impressive paper capacity of up to 3,200 sheets and provides continuous operation even if one paper tray is empty.

High-quality document finishing is an integral part of the Aficio™MP C2000. The device can staple, punch and collate up to 1,000 sheets. It can also handle paper up to 256 g/m² so that even menu cards or cover sheets can be managed. The optional booklet finisher enables users to automatically fold and saddle stitch their booklets.
Using the ‘Scan To’ functionality, users can store and distribute documents in many ways. Scanning a document to a recipient's e-mail address is just one example of this flexibility. The strong document handling functionality is also evident in the fax capabilities of the devices. There is a broad range of fax distribution functions, such as automatically directing inbound faxes to the relevant people. The Embedded Software Architecture™, based on Java™, enables users to easily develop customised applications to enhance their workflow even further.
The Aficio™MP C2000 provides security features such as password requirement to print and a utility to erase all data on the hard disk drive after use. It also offers watermark protection to prevent unauthorised copying, meeting user demands for enhanced security functionalities.
