Ricoh and EFI™ Launch Four New Colour Solutions with Powerful, Pre-configured Controllers for Maximised Colour Performance

Designed to speed up the printing process, these colour performers deliver up to 25, 30, 35, or 40 pages per minute (ppm) in vivid colour, and up to 25, 30, 35, or 45 ppm in black and white. What’s more, PDF, PostScript®, EPS, TIFF and font files can be directly downloaded to the Fiery, accelerating throughput capabilities. To produce undeviating, professional colour, the user friendly EFI Fiery ColorWise Pro Tools™ colour management software suite offers precise, high quality colour production from all applications, platforms and file formats. Colour output is consistent under any condition thanks to the calibrator module.

The Aficio™MP C2500e1/MP C3000e1 and Aficio™MP C3500e1/MP C4500e1 streamline the user’s document workflow with the Fiery Command WorkStation™ 4.5 utility. Serving as a virtual window into the MFP systems, this tool provides a real-time status report on all jobs being processed through the Ricoh devices. The systems' versatility can be further extended with the optional Fiery® Impose application, an in-RIP imposition tool that allows for last-minute revisions which can be made directly on the printing device.

Users can increase their flexibility and productivity by automatically arranging the pages of their print jobs to their specifications. A range of straightforward imposition tools, such as Speed Print, Mixed Media and Booklet Imposition allow customers to significantly cut down production time. Fiery Freeform2™ effortlessly reproduced documents which are partly standardised, partly variable, in one smooth run.

To simplify installation for IT managers, these devices can be connected to virtually any network, operating system or computer. To help the IT department comply with security standards, there’s User Authentication, Secure Printing, and Data Encryption, which control access to system functions, restrict colour usage and limit access to sensitive information. Furthermore, all traces of job data on the Fiery Hard Disk Drive (HDD) are continuously removed, while data on the MFPs’ HDD is automatically overwritten after each copy and fax job.
