Ricoh Launches the Aficio™MP 161 Series for Low Cost Printing, Scanning and Copying to Stretch Market Share Leadership

Small office and workgroup users have different needs, from a copier with low cost printing functionality to networked printing and colour scanning capabilities. The Aficio™MP 161 series offer maximum flexibility and functionality to meet their current and evolving requirements.

Speed and ease of use are critical to small office and workgroup users. The new Aficio™MP 161 series feature an impressively fast recovery time of less than 10 seconds from stand-by mode, while the first print or copy is ready in less than 7.5 seconds. Prints are produced at a speed of up to 16 pages per minute and, unlike most devices in their segment, the Aficio™MP 161 series offer standard duplex printing and copying. The optional ARDF (Automatic Reverse Document Feeder) guarantees automatic duplexing.

Reliability is one of Ricoh’s well recognised strengths. This is reflected in the design of the Aficio™MP 161/MP 161L/MP 161LN, enabling them to handle up to 5,000 copies per month. Furthermore, these devices offer very low sound emission levels and power consumption. In energy saver mode, for example, they use no more than 25 W.
