Ricoh offers Equitrac Office™ 4 and Equitrac Express™ 4: Easy and Effective Control of Document Output Costs

Amstelveen, The Netherlands, October 2006 – With the launch of the renewed Equitrac solutions, leading office automation manufacturer Ricoh Europe B.V. strengthens its relationship with the world’s n°1 in document accounting solutions, Equitrac. The launch enhances the companies’ mutual commitment and enables them to provide seamless integration combined with the best possible support. Together, Ricoh and Equitrac address the growing need for organisations to effectively monitor and manage their document output costs.

“Many corporate and educational organisations are looking for an efficient solution to track and manage their document output and control spiralling costs,” explains Jeroen Kamphuis, Assistant Manager at Ricoh Europe’s Printing Solution Department. To ensure both Equitrac cost accounting solutions can be tailored to specific customer requirements, Ricoh offers a variety of dedicated, integrated options, including Ricoh’s unique embedded Print & Copy Control (PCC) module. This solution creates a secure environment where only authenticated users can release their documents through a PIN code, a user ID/password combination or an identification card. Alternatively, users can gain access through Equitrac’s PageCounter™, an external print/copy control terminal. All transactions are processed for centralised accounting and reporting helping organisations define a document output strategy that delivers new levels of efficiency and cost effectiveness.
