Ricoh launches new Aficio™MP 1600 and Aficio™MP 2000 A3 document systems for fast and reliable copying, printing, scanning and faxing

Improving productivity is key for the Aficio™MP 1600 and MP 2000. The warm up time is less than 15 seconds, with a first output speed of less than 6.5 seconds. The Aficio™MP 1600 prints and copies at 16 pages per minute, and features a paper capacity of up to 1,350 sheets and a 30-sheet Automatic Document Feeder. The Aficio™MP 2000 tops at 20 pages per minute, holding up to 1,600 sheets. It also handles up to 50 double-sided originals at a time and processes duplex output at simplex speed. With their full A3 capability and versatile paper handling of media up to 162 g/m², these devices cater for in-house production of professional looking office documents.

Ricoh offers two versions of each model: a copier version, which is upgradeable to a multifunctional device, and an SP version, which includes standard scanning and printing. Connected to the network, these devices enable efficient document distribution, archiving and retrieval. Both versions can be expanded with a fax option, allowing offices to unite all document and communication facilities into one single unit. The latest security measures have been applied to protect the devices and any (temporary) data on their Hard Disk Drive against unauthorised access.

Environmental issues are central to the design of the Aficio™MP 1600 and MP 2000. Their very low sound and emission levels ensure that they can be placed at the centre of any office, providing a clean and safe environment for users. Both systems also offer low power consumption and use only toxic free materials.

Offering advanced, all-in network functionality, the Aficio™MP 1600 and MP 2000 complete Ricoh’s renewed 16 to 20 pages per minute range.
