The high productivity and document finishing functionality allows users to keep much of their document management requirements in house. The upgradeability of the MP C2500 and MP C3000 ensures that they can grow with business needs.
The Aficio™MP C2500 and Aficio™MP C3000 produce quality output at up to 25 and 30 pages per minute respectively, whether printing in full colour or black and white. The high speed scanner supports speeds up to 50 pages per minute. The MP C2500 and MP C3000 warm up in 45 seconds and produce a first copy within 6.7 seconds. The two systems can handle up to 3,100 sheets and provide continuous operation even as one paper tray is empty.

High quality document finishing is an integral part of the Aficio™MP C2500 and Aficio™MP C3000. Both devices can staple, punch and collate up to 1,000 sheets. They can also handle paper up to 257 g/m² so that even menu cards or cover sheets can be managed. The optional booklet finisher enables users to automatically fold and saddle stitch their booklets.
Using the ‘Scan To’ functionality, users can store and distribute documents in many ways. Scanning a document to a recipient's e-mail address is just one illustration of this flexibility. The strong document handling functionality is also evident in the fax capabilities of the two devices. There is a broad range of fax distribution functions, such as automatically directing inbound faxes to the relevant people. The Embedded Software Architecture™, based on JavaTM, enables users to easily develop customised applications to enhance their workflow even further.
All levels of users are demanding enhanced security functionalities. The MP C2500 and MP C3000 provide such features as password requirement to print documents, a utility to erase all data on the hard disk drive after use and watermark protection to prevent unauthorised copying.
