The Aficio™480W offers an impressive package for demanding professional users, such as drawing offices, architects, engineering consultancies and ‘print for pay’ environments. The mainframe offers three-in-one functionality with copier as a standard and printer and scanner as options. Thanks to its small footprint, the Aficio™480W can be placed close to users enabling them to check plots and scans directly from their desks. The wide screen touch panel and full front operability makes use easy and minimises operator mistakes.

The Aficio™480W works at a true 600 dpi resolution with up to 256 grey scales and a print speed of 6 metres per minute. The 25 - 400% zoom means A0 output can be created from A4 in one step, or vice versa. Up to four paper rolls or two rolls plus two cassettes make the Aficio™480W answer even the highest volume demands.
The system comes with excellent connectivity and a suite of security features; Windows® authentication, SSL encryption and Data Overwrite Security will offer users the latest in document security. The system is designed to work fully integrated with industry standards such as AutoCAD®, Bentley® and Windows® or other commonly used applications in the drawing office. Web printing is possible via PlotClient WEB®, which means that Aficio™480W functions can be accessed from the user’s desktop anywhere in the world.
