Aficio™FX200 – Efficient Multitasker Offering Standard Print, Copy, Fax and Colour Scan Capabilities

Following in the footsteps of the successful Aficio™FX16, this compact unit provides plug and play convenience and 20 ppm output. Warm up time is 42 seconds and the first print is ready in 10 seconds. Using the 50-sheet ADF, multi-page documents can be scanned fast and copying/faxing can be done unattended. 

In line with larger Aficio™ multifunctional systems, the operation panel of the Aficio™FX200 is intuitive and allows for easy job programming. Maintaining this system is undemanding: the all-in-one cartridge is user replaceable so work can continue almost uninterruptedly. 

Whether used for printing or copying, the Aficio™FX200 provides output at 1,200 dpi. Originals are scanned once and stored into memory from where they are reproduced. With less moving parts, this ‘scan once, copy many’ principle also stands for enhanced reliability.

To improve efficiency in small workgroups, the Aficio™FX200 can be shared for printing and scanning. Networking is standard with an Ethernet interface, while for local connections a parallel port and high speed USB 2.0 interface are available. Meeting today’s new demands, the FX200 can also be used to directly print from and scan to a USB memory device. The scanned files become instantly mobile; users can upload the data and take it with them.
