The Aficio Color™5560 is a competent multi-tasking unit with impressive performance and reliability features. With up to 2,400 x 600 dpi and high level consistency output quality, the highest standards are met. The unit can handle a wide variety of A6 to A3+ media weighing up to 256 g/m², backed up by a massive paper capacity for uninterrupted production. Duplexing is as fast as single-sided printing and copying at 60 ppm (black and white) and 55 ppm (colour). Expansion options include connecting two units, doubling the output speeds to accommodate virtually any high volume printing or copying demand. Professional finishing options include booklet making and on-line punching for all common wire binding styles.
The optional Color Controller E-7000 brings an extensive range of industry leading Fiery® utilities, finishing and networking capabilities. Professional workflow features include imposition and chapter separation. In addition, authentic Postscript® and native PDF printing, exceptional reliability and heightened security solutions are included.
For centralised print job management, the E-7000 comes with the multi-award-winning Fiery® Command WorkStation™. Its familiar, consistent interface means seamless integration into Ricoh environments.
Additional tools include: Fiery® FreeForm™ for flexible variable data printing capabilities and optional Hot Folders for automated batch processing of PostScript® and PDF files. The Color Controller E-7000 and Fiery®-driven solutions are scheduled to be available as of September 2005.
For any common office applications, Ricoh’s dedicated printer/scanner Type 3260 controller offers all required functionalities at an affordable price. Another customer benefit is that administrators or independent developers can write customised software applications to run on the Aficio Color™5560’s architecture, supported via the Ricoh Developer Program™ (www.ricoh-developer.com).
