For a colour machine, the Aficio™3260C is strikingly compact and has been cleverly designed, so that it can be placed against a wall, thus economising on space. The touch screen is clear and intuitive for all print, scan and copy tasks. Frequent copy and print jobs can be stored in the Aficio™3260C’s document server minimising time, space and costs of handling and filing. Different file formats and hardcopy documents from different users can easily be merged, printed and finished as one document. Automatic routing of various print jobs to the most suitable printer in the network is possible as well.
High productivity and high reliability are demonstrated by the paper capacity of up to 7,400 sheets and print/copy speeds of 60 ppm in black and white and 45 ppm in colour. The unit handles paper to A3+, a sturdy 256 g/m² as well as overhead sheets. Finishing options are extensive, including stapling and booklet finishing.
Bright and consistent colour quality, glossiness and stable output production at high volumes and speeds are ensured by the oil-less toner and special image transfer belt with constant feedback sensor.
The Aficio™3260C’s scanner function offers various network distribution capabilities such as ‘scan to folder’ and ‘scan to e-mail’ (via LDAP). Security tools such as full incoming and outgoing data encryption are standard and extensive options are available. Network administrators and IT managers can set user privileges, control usage and produce complete statistics. The standard software allows for monitoring all networked peripherals through any web browser.
