The integration of Ricoh printers and IBM iSeries and AS/400® servers is made possible by the Workstation Customization Object (WCO). The WCO is provided with its source code, allowing users to customize printing functions of Ricoh printers, ranging from font to line spacing, to make Ricoh printing devices more suitable to their printing workflow. IBM provides iSeries and AS/400® customers with a WCO for attachment to Ricoh MFPs and printers as well as Ricoh family and OEM branded products.

"Now any customer, retailer, VAR or SI of IBM products will be able to rely on Ricoh MFPs and printers as well as Ricoh family and OEM branded products with professional IBM support." 

The WCO supports IBM OS/400® version 5, release 1 and version 5, release 2. The supported Ricoh MFPs and printers are the Aficio™2035, Aficio™2045, Aficio™AP600N, Aficio™AP3200, Aficio™AP4510, Aficio™CL5000 and Aficio™CL7000. The equivalent Ricoh family and OEM brand models listed on IBM Technical Support web site are supported equally by IBM technical support.
