The Aficio™CL2000 and CL3100N/3100DN units offer true 1,200 x 1,200 dpi print quality. The latter prints at 17 ppm in full colour and 21 ppm in black and white, while the CL2000 offers 16 ppm in both modes. Swift processing at high resolution means savings on valuable user time without compromising quality. An impressive warm up time of under 30 seconds means fast start, while an efficient 11 W energy saver mode gives low power consumption, saving electricity and reducing environmental loading.
The Aficio™CL3100N/3100DN models are compatible with all major network environments, offering network access as standard via a conventional Ethernet connection. Both models incorporate a USB 2.0 interface, thus simple and fast peer to peer connection for desktop and mobile PCs resulting in fewer cables in the office. These models are among the only laser printers on the market to integrate both industry Wireless LAN and Bluetooth standards. The Aficio™CL2000 optionally offers the same networking capabilities.
The Aficio™CL3100DN has a built-in duplex unit (optional on the Aficio™CL3100N and Aficio™CL2000) that does not diminish productivity or raise space needs. The SamplePrint™ function means users can release an entire print job at the operation panel, thus saving time, paper and frustration. Total paper capacity is almost 2,000 sheets and paper can be added to both trays while printing thus ensuring undisturbed productivity. Media handled extends from plain and recycled paper up to 165 g/m2, transparencies, printer labels and envelopes.
The Aficio™CL2000 and CL3100N/CL3100DN are delivered with special software to optimise printing process control. DeskTopBinder™ software offers easy viewing, management, and reproduction of documents stored in the network, and permits different files to be merged and printed as one finished document, further simplifying document management.
Network device monitoring software SmartDeviceMonitor™, comes bundled with both printers. This offers great control to administrators and users with instant status reports and job completion notification. Administrators can naturally manage user privileges. Network peripheral monitoring with common web browsers is possible through Web Image Monitor and Web SmartDeviceMonitor™. There are drivers for both PC and Apple Mac. Windows® users benefit from Ricoh's own RPCS™ driver, a user oriented 'one click print' graphic interface, and PCL5. For Mac users, Adobe® PostScript® 3™ is also available.
