| Sales climbed 2.1% to ¥ 437.5 billion and the yen's weakness against the euro helped boost the company's operating profit in Europe to ¥ 5.5 billion from ¥ 3.3 billion. With operating profit also up in North America, Ricoh upgraded its profit forecast for the full year to March. Net profit is now expected to rise 17% to ¥ 85 billion on sales 15% higher at ¥ 2 trillion.
