Lotus Notes Developer

To provide a consultancy development service and 3rd level support for Ricoh Head Office applications.

• Consult with stakeholders of new application developments from the very start to ascertain a prioritised set of requirements ready for development.
• Provide comprehensive XPages & Javascript knowledge to the Development team and help develop skill set of the other team members.
• Ensure developments are prioritised and developed to meet/exceed the customer’s expectations.
• Seek to continually improve the effectiveness and efficiency of existing Lotus Notes applications.
• Keep informed as to present and emerging Lotus Notes technologies.
• 3rd level Lotus Notes Application support for approx 18,000 user base throughout EMEA via escalation from local/regional 1st/2nd level support teams.

• Define and develop Lotus Notes applications in UK / NL Head Office
• Ensure existing Lotus Notes applications continue to work effectively within UK / NL Head Office
• Develop the XPage & Javascript skillset throughout the team and ensure all members are able to support and design
• applications using these technologies
• Provide 3rd level Lotus Notes application support to EMEA Region
• Continually research and adopt new technologies/methods to improve new and existing application developments within UK / NL Head Office.

Knowledge:

• Thorough understanding of Lotus Domino Designer concepts, and trouble shooting.
• Thorough understanding of cross-domain Lotus Notes Application replication and security configurations
• Good understanding of requirements engineering and capture
• Thorough understanding of Lotus Notes on the Web using XPage technology

Skills & Experience

• Proficient in Lotus Formula Language
• Extensive use of XPages on the web, with both Client and Server Side Javascript
• Extensive Experience using Lotus Script Language
• Extensive Experience in a Lotus Notes Development environment
• Excellent technical problem solving skills
• Excellent time project planning and time management skills
• Fluency in English – other languages an advantage.
