|  | Ricoh Europe and Nuance extend partnership, creating software that will help businesses of all sizes get more out of their IT investment |
| | London, 10 December, 2010 – Ricoh Europe, a specialist in office solutions, managed document services and production printing today announced it has signed a pan-European reseller agreement with Nuance Inc, a leading provider of speech and imaging solutions. The agreement means products will be created specifically for Ricoh customers, helping them be more efficient in the workplace. |
 Under the agreement, new software will be developed especially for Ricoh’s customers, designed to work specifically with Ricoh’s Multi-Function Products. These applications will be simple, user-friendly and less draining on IT support than software and devices that work separately from each other, and they will help increase employee productivity by making it faster to scan to a desktop or workflow application.
The agreement strengthens the existing reseller agreement between Ricoh and Nuance that has seen Ricoh successfully sell Nuance’s eCopy and DigiDocFlow products throughout Europe, North America and Asia Pacific.
The two companies have an excellent track record of meeting customers’ needs. Emma Isichei, Director of Ricoh Europe Advanced Solutions Centre, said “We are very pleased to be extending our existing agreement with Nuance. Our partnership has proven to be a winning combination in the past, and it will grow stronger as new solutions, focused on helping people get more out of their IT, are launched over the coming months.”

Products from Ricoh and Nuance build on Ricoh’s existing portfolio of global office solutions which help businesses be more cost effective, secure, productive, and sustainable.
