|  Amstelveen, The Netherlands, December 2010 – Ricoh Europe (Netherlands) B.V. today launched the Aficio™MP C300, MP C300SR, MP C400 and MP C400SR. These compact, user-friendly Multi-Functional Products (MFPs) produce colour and monochrome A4 output at impressive speeds of 30/40 pages per minute. The devices are designed to save space, energy and costs. They offer a low Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), high productivity and low power consumption. They are easy to use and come in a range of solution and security specifications. |

The Aficio™MP C300/MP C300SR/MP C400/MP C400SR are easy to use, with the large colour touch-panel able to be tilted to improve visibility. The devices copy, print, scan, fax and finish (MP C300SR/MP C400SR) at a fast pace and require only 50 seconds to warm up. Colour and monochrome output are delivered at the same high speed of 30 (MP C300/MP C300SR) and 40 (MP C400/MP C400SR) pages per minute. Continuous productivity is ensured with a maximum paper capacity of 2,300 sheets. Documents are distributed quickly by scanning to a variety of destinations including e-mail, servers or websites. The MP C300SR/MP C400SR can staple documents automatically, if this option is selected on the machine’s display.
Another unique aspect of the MP C300/MP C300SR/MP C400/MP C400SR is the degree to which they can be personalised. The devices come with Ricoh’s App2Me software platform pre-installed. App2Me is designed to make work more convenient for busy employees who frequently need to change locations. No matter where they go, users keep their personalised workflow settings for Ricoh App2Me MFPs on their PC, laptop or compatible smartphone. They are displayed directly on the MFP’s display panel, providing fast access to the latest tools and applications.
To keep customers’ confidential data safe, the devices possess extensive security features. Prints can be locked, or a password can be required to release a print, and it is possible to black out text or prohibit the use of certain functions. Additionally, the ability to set quotas means the output of individuals or groups can be set and managed.
As with all Ricoh products, reducing environmental impact is a prime focus. The Aficio™ MP C300/MP C300SR/MP C400/MP C400SR have environmentally responsible and money-saving features such as fast duplex printing and copying, and increased toner yield. Their ultra-low sleep mode contributes to a low Typical Electricity Consumption (TEC). In addition, Ricoh products are Energy Star compliant. This means less CO2 is produced in providing the energy needed to run Ricoh devices.
