|  | Ricoh tees up for another Ricoh Women’s British Open |
| London, 16 July, 2010 – Ricoh Europe, a specialist in office solutions, managed document services and production printing is once again using its title sponsorship at the Ricoh Women’s British Open, the flagship golf tournament beginning on 29th July, to showcase some of its innovative solutions. |
 Celebrating its 35th anniversary this year, the Ricoh Women’s British Open takes place at The Royal Birkdale Golf Club from the 29th July to 1st August. Ricoh Europe will be making full use of its title sponsorship of the event to demonstrate its expertise in technology solutions that help customers to control and manage information around their business. Key solutions profiled at the event include:
- Ricoh Managed Document Services - a document-centric service that maximises a customer’s control of the information that exists within their business. Ricoh adds real long-term value with an ‘out-servicing’ model that includes needs assessment, design, implementation, management, optimisation and continuous improvement.
- Ricoh Hotspot printing for Mobile Devices, enabling secure and easy printing, when on the move. The technology – ideally suited for placement in service oriented environments, providing an added value service to customers - will be situated in the tented village and will be available for all players, officials and guests to use.
In conjunction with the event, Ricoh will also display images of the golfing superstars on the Ricoh Eco Board - a 100 percent solar powered electronic billboard in Times Square, New York. The Ricoh Eco Board - the first billboard in Times Square to be totally lit by solar energy – will display a specially created Ricoh advert throughout July and August including top seed players such as Ricoh brand ambassador and US Open Champion Paula Creamer, as well as many other global stars playing at the Ricoh Women's British Open.

The Trophy & Foundation created by HRH, the Duke of York is the world-leading international 54-hole stroke play amateur golf tournament for boys and girls who are either the current holders of their Under 18 National Championship or have won a major golfing event in the preceding year. With the support of Ricoh, the 2009 Duke of York Champion, 15 year old Moriya Jutanugarn from Thailand, aims to compete in this years Ricoh Women's British Open. Moriya’s win in the Duke of York Trophy gained her direct access to Final Qualifying for the Ricoh Women's British Open 2010.
