"The SP 1100S/SP 1100SF are highly productive devices with a small footprint. That makes them ideally suited for personal use in offices with a shared departmental device," says Sylvester de Koning, Product Manager at Ricoh Europe. "With their complete set of basic features, they can handle a small office's entire workflow. Cost-conscious customers will appreciate the devices' remarkable cost-efficiency. These devices have been developed specifically to offer all-round functionality at the lowest price."
The SP 1100S/SP 1100SF copy and print with a resolution of up to 600 dpi. The first print or copy is ready in 13 seconds. A short warm-up time of less than 21 seconds contributes to optimal use of the energy saver mode. When in this mode, the SP 1100SF consumes as little as 12 watts. The SP 1100S uses even less: 10 watts. Combined with their cost efficiency, the low energy consumption ensures a low total cost of ownership.
The devices' standard colour scanner allows users to digitise and distribute documents easily. The Automatic Document Feeder (SP 1100SF only) accepts documents of up to 50 sheets. Books and magazines can be digitised directly from the platen glass. Scanning to a USB stick is also possible. The SP 1100S/SP 1100SF support direct printing of PDF and USB data. The SP 1100S/SP 1100SF have ID card copy and manual duplex printing as useful extra functions.
The SP 1100SF's built-in fax transmits messages in a swift 2.5 seconds. Its 2 MB memory stores messages that arrive when the machine's paper tray is empty. The device also automatically adapts incoming messages to the size of the paper available in the tray.
The Aficio™SP 1100S/SP 1100SF are the latest additions to Ricoh's advanced range of digital office equipment. Ricoh currently manufactures one of the world's most extensive line-ups of printers, copiers, faxes and multifunctional devices, as well as advanced software solutions.
