Producing high output speeds of up to 4.4/6.4 A1s per minute respectively, the MP W2400/MP W3600 satisfy the needs of even the most demanding users. After a quick warm up of under 2 minutes, the first A1 output is ready in less than 21 seconds. Thanks to a 600 dpi resolution and 256 greyscales, edge to edge output quality is guaranteed. To prevent old, sometimes irreplaceable originals from getting damaged during repetitive feeding, documents only need to be scanned once and are stored in memory. The MP W2400/MP W3600 offer a standard memory capacity of 1,024 MB and come with an 80 GB Hard Disk Drive. Efficient distribution is thought of too. Users can instantly share files by sending scanned documents directly to any company e-mail address, URL, or dedicated network folder.
The MP W2400/MP W3600 can be customised with a choice of two print controllers. The cost efficient, embedded GW controller connects the mainframe directly to the network and lets CAD users submit their print jobs in the same way as printing to regular office printers. The advanced, external RATIO controller stands for faster production thanks to its superior processing power and uses a separate PC to rip the files. It offers direct printing of CAD files as well as easy print job and queue management, and handles a larger variety of file formats.
The Aficio™MP W2400/MP W3600 bring customers peace of mind. A clear and intuitive LCD touch panel offers quick access to all functions and lets users check all settings within seconds. Thanks to their small footprint, these devices can conveniently be placed close to users enabling them to check plots and scans directly from their desks.
Both the MP W2400 and MP W3600 are capable of processing A4 to 914 mm width in a variety of paper weights. The 25 - 400 % zoom means A0 output can be created from A4 in one step, or vice versa. Users can choose from up to four media sources: a 1 or 2 roll feeder, a 1-sheet bypass tray and a 250-sheet A4/A3 paper cassette. For added convenience, the unique fan folder vertically folds the paper into a ‘fan’, creating impeccably finished output, ready for distribution.
Both units are able to print from any type of computer or platform and from applications as diverse as AutoCAD®, Windows®, Bentley® or other applications commonly used in technical environments. Users can send print jobs through various networks at the same time, independently of their operating systems. The RW 3600 PLOTCLIENT/WEB provides web based access to print facilities through a common web browser.
