Ricoh Europe Announces the Integration of Ricoh Austria GmbH and NRG Gestetner Austria GmbH

London, July 2007 – Effective immediately, Ricoh Austria GmbH and NRG Gestetner Austria GmbH will be operating under the Ricoh Austria GmbH name. Following Ricoh’s successful “multi brand, multi channel strategy”, the Ricoh brand as well as the established Nashuatec and Gestetner brands will be maintained for the indirect channel. Direct business will be conducted under the Ricoh brand only. Managing Director Otto Flum leads the new Ricoh Austria GmbH organisation in which the Service, Support and Administration departments are consolidated. The head office of the new united Austrian operation is co-located at both present addresses in Vienna.

Simon Sasaki, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ricoh Europe PLC stated: “The integration streamlines the two Austrian Ricoh Group members by combining previously separate functions. The combined strengths and resources allow for building the ‘New Ricoh’, resulting in even swifter responsiveness to address customers’ needs”.
