Aficio™SP 3500N/SP 3510DN – Ricoh launches two new, affordable, versatile black and white laser printers
Amstelveen, The Netherlands, April 2012 – Ricoh Europe (Netherlands) B.V. today launched the Aficio™SP 3500N/SP 3510DN, two A4 laser printers for small offices. Compact enough to fit unobtrusively on a desk, these devices print at a fast 28 pages per minute and are easy to operate due to a 2-line LCD panel. They come network-ready as standard, offer versatile printing with a 1,200 x 1,200 dpi resolution and are very cost-efficient in the long run.
“For the everyday personal document production needs of busy small offices, the Aficio™SP 3500N/SP 3510DN are ideal,” says Chi Chung Man, Senior Product Manager at Ricoh Europe. “They are compact and fast, take less than 20 seconds to warm up and produce the first print only eight seconds later. Their continuous print speed of 28 pages per minute makes these printers extremely fast. To further improve office productivity and reduce paper waste, duplex printing is standard (SP 3510DN), and a paper capacity of 550 sheets means less time is spent refilling the paper tray.”
Underlining the ease of use, the SP 3500N/SP 3510DN feature a very clear 2-line LCD operating panel. The all-in-one cartridge means users don’t need to store or handle various consumables for the printers, and easy front access saves time in maintenance.
The SP 3500N/SP 3510DN are perfect for shared use. With standard USB 2.0 and Ethernet 10 base-T/100 base-TX, these printers integrate smoothly into an office’s existing network. Each print job can be sent to the most appropriate network machine, so users can collect their prints at the printer that is most convenient for them.
Versatility is a key strength of the SP 3500N/SP 3510DN. They can print on plain and recycled paper up to 162 g/m2, and take a wide range of formats such as A4, A5, A6, B5 and B6. The devices also print on envelopes and transparencies, while confidential documents can be protected by printing a watermark.
As with all Ricoh products, reducing environmental impact is a prime focus. The SP 3500N/SP 3510DN have environmentally responsible and money-saving features such as short warm-up time, ultra-low sleep mode, duplex printing (SP 3510DN) and increased toner yield. An Energy Saver mode and low Typical Electricity Consumption further reduce energy costs. In addition, Ricoh products are Energy Star compliant. This means less CO2 is produced in providing the energy needed to run Ricoh devices.
