Ricoh’s Business Driver Programme expands to meet print service provider challenges in 2012
London, 27 February 2012 – Ricoh is launching the second release of the successful Ricoh Business Driver Programme™ in Europe. The programme offers an exclusive package of business development services for Ricoh production printing clients in the commercial graphic arts and corporate sectors. Available 24/7, it will provide unique access to new market reports, business guides, e-learning courses, consulting services and Ricoh Professional Services.
New features will include more customisation options, to allow users to preselect and highlight the most relevant content, a Carbon Balanced Calculator as a part of Ricoh’s new Carbon Balanced Printing Programme, a second calculator that can be used to compare production costs using digital or offset technology, and networking tools that allow members to connect directly to consultants, Ricoh experts and other users.
A new library of information for print service providers has also been added based on direct feedback from Business Driver Programme members. A Ricoh survey amongst members showed that the biggest areas of concern for 2012 were how to manage business transformation and how to identify new markets and print applications.
As a result Ricoh has added more guides that focus upon improving efficiency, entering new markets, choosing the right print applications, business transformation and sustainability. Each of the sections considers new ways to increase profitability and enhance client value. Information from leading independent industry experts such as PIRA and InfoTrends is also available.
Member email alerts will mean users can choose to receive notifications about new content or offers directly to their inbox as well as news about added features, new products, events and webinars.
A Ricoh client in Germany, Gerd Gellner, CEO, Bonifatius, says the Business Driver Programme is a key part of its relationship with Ricoh, “Ricoh is a partner that has developed interesting products and technology and continues to be there for us. The Ricoh Business Driver Programme supports us on the marketing side and the Ricoh consultants help us to develop new concepts to meet the needs of our customers. This is a great and unique advantage compared to what other companies have to offer. You can describe the service from Ricoh as excellent.”
Bo Flack, Sales Manager from ABA, in Sweden, whose company has recently joined the programme says, “We are looking forward to taking full advantage of the tools, services and information to drive our business forward.”
Graham Moore, Business Development Director, Ricoh Production Printing Business Group, Europe says, “The Ricoh Business Driver Programme has become a valued resource for Ricoh production printing customers right across Europe. By enhancing the content and functionality in this way, much of it driven by members feedback, we expect to make it even more useful and relevant, and support print service providers on their paths to a more productive and profitable future.”
The Ricoh Business Driver programme is available in Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. The new features will be added from March 2012 onwards.
