Aficio™SP 3400SF/SP 3410SF - Fast and cost-efficient multitaskers
Amstelveen, The Netherlands, February 2010 – Ricoh Europe (Netherlands) B.V. today introduced two new desktop multifunctionals. The Aficio™SP 3400SF/SP 3410SF print, copy, fax and scan in colour. Their compact design ensures a small footprint. The advanced printing technology delivers black and white print speeds up to 28 pages per minute. These devices have the capacity to manage the entire workflow of a small office or workgroup. Network-ready, they can be shared by several users.

Compact and easy to operate, the SP 3400SF and SP 3410SF have all it takes to facilitate document production in small offices.”
The SP 3400SF/SP 3410SF combine speed with energy efficiency. They warm up in less than 30 seconds. Their quick start-up time ensures high productivity while also making maximum use of the energy saver mode. The first print is ready in as little as 8 seconds. With a maximum resolution of 1,200 x 600 dpi, the devices offer excellent print quality. A 501-sheet maximum paper capacity restricts the number of refills necessary. The devices automatically switch trays if the paper has run out. This ensures that the print run is completed without the need for manual intervention. With the standard Auto-Document Feeder, up to 35 sheets can be scanned or faxed at once. The systems scan a colour page in just 10 seconds and transmit a fax in 3 seconds.
The devices are designed to require little to no maintenance. Their all-in-one cartridges include the drum unit, enabling toner and drum to be replaced in one simple action. Like all Ricoh products, the SP 3400SF/SP 3410SF are easy to use. Toner and paper replacement as well as operation take place at the front of the device.
Their paperless distribution functions and quick start-up technology contribute to the SP 3400SF/SP 3410SF’s low cost of ownership. The SP 3410SF has a standard automatic duplex unit that helps users save paper and expenses.
The SP 3400SF/SP 3410SF feature several useful extra functions. Users can collate two documents to fit on one page. A special ID card copy function enables the copying of both sides of an ID card on one side of a sheet. Furthermore, it is easy to add a front cover to a document by specifying a paper tray. To control printing on pre-printed paper, users can select the letterhead mode.
