Aficio™MP 2851/3351/4001/5001 – Flexible all-round office solutions
Amstelveen, The Netherlands, January 2010 – Ricoh Europe (Netherlands) B.V. introduces the Aficio™MP 2851/3351/4001/5001, four all-round document systems. Copying, printing, scanning, distributing, faxing and finishing: they can handle any office task. Designed to speed up document production in mid-sized offices and workgroups, they offer each user a personalised workflow. Productive and easy to use, they also live up to the highest security standards.

Users can adapt the display screen by adding shortcuts to the functions they use frequently. Moreover, the platform enables operation of the MP 2851/3341/4001/5001 from a connected PC, laptop or compatible smartphone. Customers just download small applets to their mobile devices and can operate the MFP whenever, wherever. That is a real asset in an economy where workers become increasingly mobile.”
The MP 2851/3351/4001/5001 are truly productive multifunctional solutions. Short warm-up times and exceptionally fast first output speeds ensure that users are never kept waiting. The devices copy and print at speeds of 28, 33, 40 and 50 pages per minute (ppm) respectively. Scan speed is 29 ppm for the MP 2851/3351 and 31 ppm for the MP 4001/5001. All four models have ample paper capacity and are capable of long, uninterrupted runs.
Ricoh’s new MFPs handle a variety of media and can be configured with a range of finishers. Their flexibility allows customers to produce professional documents in-house and save costs as well as time. From stapled and punched sets to saddle-stitched booklets, the MP 2851/3351/4001/5001 deliver their output quickly and efficiently. Special paper types and heavy stock are supported in sizes ranging between A5 and A3.
Extensive scan-to functionalities ensure the quick and cost-effective distribution of digital documents. Files can be scanned to e-mail, folder, URL or Novell Netware NCP. With the GlobalScan NX option, scan tasks become even simpler. This software allows customers to scan in one step, directly from the MP 2851/3351/4001/5001’s operating panel.
To secure confidential information, customers have a wide variety of options at their disposal. Copy data can be protected, the Hard Disk Drive encrypted and old data can be overwritten. The MP 2851/3351/4001/5001’s fax option lives up to the highest security standards and has received the P2600 label.
