SP C311N/SP C312DN – Highly productive colour printers for daily office use
Amstelveen, The Netherlands, February 2009 – Ricoh Europe (Netherlands) B. V. today introduced the Aficio™SP C311N/SP C312DN, two A4 colour laser printers for business usage. Continuously productive at 25 pages per minute, the SP C311N/SP C312DN deal swiftly with office workflows. They can easily be embedded in existing networks and boast a low Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). With their small footprint, curved design and quiet operation they fit perfectly on a desktop. The devices are targeted at medium to large workgroups that require high colour performance.

Colour registration ensures that the same high-quality colours can be reproduced in different documents. This is particularly useful for company logos and letterheads. It is also possible to control printing on pre-printed paper by using Letterhead Mode. To add a cover, customers can specify the paper tray. The SP C311N/SP C312DN warm up in less than 30 seconds. The first print, whether monochrome or full colour, is ready in 13.5 seconds. Highly-productive tandem technology fits inside their compact frames by a system of hanging housing. To limit interruptions to a minimum, the devices have a maximum paper capacity of 1,100 sheets. Each paper tray has enough room for an entire rim of paper.
The SP C311N/SP C312DN are delivered with their all-in-one toner preinstalled for added convenience. When the consumables run out, they can easily be replaced with one hand. Misfeeds or obstructions are minimised by the systems’ short and simple paper pass. Any jammed paper can simply be removed at the front of the machine.
With a maximum resolution of 2,400 x 600 dpi, the SP C311N/SP C312DN render excellent print quality. Ricoh toner yields crisp monochrome and vibrant colours. The SP C311N/SP C312DN’s driver can simulate offset colours. The status of the consumables can conveniently be checked on the operation panel’s display.
The SP C311N/SP C312DN combine paper and energy-saving features for increased cost-efficiency. Because of their short warm-up times, the devices quickly switch to energy saver mode, consuming only 15 W. The SP C312DN has a standard automatic duplex unit, allowing users to save paper and the accompanying costs.
