Ricoh Europe Acquires Long Term Polish Distribution Partner, ATA International
London, United Kingdom, 24 February 2009 - Ricoh Europe Holdings PLC today announced that it has acquired ATA International Ltd sp. Z o.o. in Poland. The two companies had developed a long standing partnership since ATA International first started distributing Ricoh's range of Gestetner products throughout Poland in 1992.
By joining the Ricoh Group, ATA International customers will benefit from the increased and strengthened access to the Ricoh sales and service network which spans 150 countries worldwide. In turn ATA International will provide the Ricoh Group with a deeper knowledge and understanding of the Polish market, therefore further enhancing Ricoh's foothold and presence in EMEA.
As a wholly owned Ricoh Group company, ATA International will work closely with Ricoh Europe and support the Group's vision to be a leader of the 21st century. It will also align with Ricoh's customer driven approach to market, to add value to business and to help customers to move their ideas forward. Day-to-day operations remain unchanged, ensuring that for customers it is business as usual.
