To understand Ricoh Europe’s Corporate Social Responsibility, you must visit the very beginnings of our company and the driving force behind our passion for responsible business practices.

Ricoh Co., Ltd. was founded in 1936 by Kiyoshi Ichimura who held a strong sense of corporate social responsibility almost unheard of fifty years ago. Recognising the impact his ambitions would have on the world, he made a genuine commitment to social and environmental sustainability from day one.

Today it is possible to see Ichimura’s ambition in the Ricoh Europe vision statement:
